Stromlo Forest Park

Stromlo Forest Park is not only for mountain biking, even if that is what has earned it’s great reputation. A purpose built event pavilion, criterium cycling circuit, grass cross country running track and equestrian tracks are also part of this all purpose recreational park. And if you are keen to explore the Canberra countryside on foot there are various trails suitable for runners and walkers.

The park is about to be blessed with a number of BBQ’s and places to sit down, have a rest and take in the magnificent view. Accommodation and camping areas are on the drawing board as well as restaurants, cafes, shops and other commercial activities.

There are also plans for a Gondola and some thrill rides to make sure the full action spectra is covered.
