3 day Mountain Bike Festival – The hill is alive!

You are invited to the Rocky Trail MTB Crown, a 3-Day Mountain Bike Festival at Stromlo Forest Park! Enjoy a balmy evening with a twilight cross country event on Friday, race for 4hrs or 8hrs solo or in teams on Saturday and bring your family for the Pedal4Pierce Charity and fun rides on Sunday – there will be plenty of kids activities to keep them busy all day long!
Guided social rides around Stromlo will be offered for free and there will be fun Dual Slalom and short cross country time trials for the more competitive riders.
Participants can collect points at every race and ride over the entire weekend and help answer the question: “Who’s the King of the Hill?” (we’re looking for Queen, Duke, Duchess, Prince and Princess too).

Pedal4Pierce Charity Ride
The Sunday will start with the Pedal4Pierce Charity Fun Ride around a short course that has been set out by Christopher, the 11-year old Canberra-local boy behind the Pedal4Pierce idea. Pierce will open the ride and then Christopher will lead hopefully a sea of mountain bike riders around the 4km trail, which he calls “Pierce’s Track”. After the Pedal4Pierce Charity Fun Ride everyone’s invite to explore Stromlo ForestPark on guided social rides, which will be offered for FREE.
Fun and action for the whole family!
So if you are a racer, bring the family and kids and they can explore Stromlo with us while you race around the hill, taking part in additional races and fun rides by Rocky Trail, including Dual Slalom Fun Runs and a XC Short Course Time Trial. Hot showers, food and drinks will be on site and camping will be allowed for the weekend as well.
Pedal4Pierce will offer fundraising opportunities, including sausage sizzles and raffle auctions. Funds raised by Pedal4Pierce support The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and the ACT Muscular Dystrophy Association.

A brand-new SHIMANO Dyna-Sys XTR Drivetrain will be given away among online registered Rocky Trail Crown riders, including racers at the Rocky Trail MTB Grand Prix.
