Capital Punishment

Canberra has long awaited an endurance mountain bike event connecting many of the great Canberra trails in one spectacular ride. ‘Capital Punishment’ will do just that. On Saturday 29th of May ‘Capital Punishment’ endeavours to take riders on an adventure beginning from the Canberra outskirts and journeying around the heart of the city in a challenging but achievable quest. The ‘Aroc Sport’ run event takes riders from Kowen Forest on some of the original 24 hour trails, over to Majura for some exhilarating single track. From there its around Black Mountain, through Bruce Ridge and over to the mountain bike centre of Canberra, Stromlo Forest Park.

With 50 and 100 km options the event is sure to be hit, with entries filled within hours of opening. A free shuttle bus will operate to take riders back to the start area at the end of their race.
